This is great for me as I have a tendancy to get lost, and suddenly a 'quick run out' becomes a half marathon!

Hi Pinki

Yes me too, that is why I started using it too. The problem for me is I normally had a group of runners with me

Have you come and run at our club yet? See our website below, we had an amazing 17,000 hits on our website over the last 3 weeks, I hope they all don't turn up to run as we don't have enough coaches

Great for a non profit making club who only started in April.

I know what you mean/ I left on a run yesterday leaving Musik-akademie heading North (I think) to Novartis Campus. An hour later I was in Gardenstr heading towards Allschwill!

Really need to put swiss maps on my Garmin!!

Are any of these routes okay for cycling? I want to be able to do some circuits in an around Basle and am wondering if these are alright untill I become good enough and look to do some suff outside of Basel.

If your not sure I suppose the best way to find out, is to run the distances and see how the cycling would go

Hi ollie

Yes , they are mostly good for cycling, but if you are not sure, go onto the different views as you can see by street map, sattelite and contours and on the contours it gives you a full run down of the route and the gradients you will make.

Re: Mapped running routes in Basel for all free to use

I was mainly looking at the 6 Bridges run, well that's the only one I have studied so far. I guess the need is to just use the road instead of the paths. But I thought that looked best as it is a 10km loop which I can do twice to make up, so it is equal to a Sprint Distance cycle route.

Thanks a lot for all your help.
