Hey everybody!!

Anybody down to play some american football. nothing serious just some touch or flag. been feeling it since the NFL season started. im in lausanne. anybody down to play, lets get a head count.

Check out the local club. They used to be called the Lausanne Sharks, but it looks like they've changed their name to the Lausanne University Club of American Football. Anyway, it is all just amateurs playing for fun. The main team maybe more serious than you are looking for, but they also have a flag football team, see here.

I'm interested...there is a full size american football field directly behind my house with the proper goal posts and everything. There is a team that practices out there a couple times a week...maybe its the team referred to above.

what age group are you shooting for?

cool, now thats what im talking about, age group? well im 28, its just fro fun, we have to knwo who is down to play and we will just split the teams as evenly possible. sounds good guys? we need at least 6-8 heads im thinking. what you guys think?

I played rugby for 12 years but gonna join my uni american football team when i return next year.

Would be cool to just hang out and learn how to play some stuff if you will have me. Sure I could pick it up fast ive thrown a pig skin before.

we talking weekdays or weekends?

some of us may need some dusting off of the rule book.
My last pig skin toss by the rules was 20+ years ago. (high school).

ok lets get some general points cleared up, since this is starting to pick up. no uniforms needed, cleats would be good if everybody had soem if not, just sneakers. have to make it fair. age doesnt matter, skill level doesnt matter, its just a friendly game, uhm what else weekends or week, we have to see who is down first and then we set up a date when everybody is free. sounds good guys, lets get a head count first. im down, so thats 1.

I will ask my husband when he gets home from work tonight, but I bet he will want to play. Weekends, especially Sundays are best for him.

let me know if you get enough to field one five man team...Maybe one Sunday, I can bring my Zurich Boys and we can play against each other. If you want to set a definite date for this, let me know...we play two hand touch, btw.

Just wanna say that I went to my first game of American football, between the Giants and the Redskins when I was in New York.

It was great fun

yes, I'm sure there was plenty of action, scoring, excitement, and genuine strategy during the Giants v Redskins game....just like in a soccer game.
