I need some advice.

My 7 friends in the UK are looking into taking a ski break this year. They are snowboarders and of intermediate level.

Last season, my husband and I spent most of our time on the slopes in Nendaz, Mont Fort and Verbier (the 4 Valleys). Hence, I suggested Verbier as possibility for them, as it also have a great social scene. But they seem to think that Verbier is not ideal for snowboarders and have asked me about the resort of Meribel, in France.

I have never been to Meribel and so would like to know if anyone has been there and what it's like by comparison to Verbier.

really, has no-one been to meribel??

Been to Meribel and it was great as a skier, but that was a few years ago so do not know how well it caters for snowboarders. Great place by all accounts, plan to go back with the family.
