Starting January, I’m interested in looking for someone who can play badminton and wants to play on a weekly basis (once/twice a week or more). I’m a good amateur player.

Hey 2Gio

I love badminton and would like to play once a week. I'm not amazing, but not bad either

Where would you plan to play, and when?

Re: Badminton Partner in Lausanne

Hi,
I'd be interested as well! My wife and I just started playing again a few weeks ago and we really want to play regularly (maybe once a week) so would be great if we could get a group together.

We played at Centre Badminton de Malley (www.badmintonlausanne.ch) and the courts were nice!

Hi there

I have just moved to Montreux and am interested in playing a sport once or twice a week. I haven't played badminton since school, but I used to love it and I was pretty good so I'm sure it will come back to me! Let me know if you are still interested in putting a group together.

Georgina

Re: Badminton Partner in Lausanne

Hi everyone,

Looks like we have enough to form a group! Would anyone want to play this Sunday/ 2 May or next Thursday/ 6 May or Friday/ 7 May after work (7:30)?

If you guys are ok to play at Malley Badminton Center I can make arrangements, but if you know another court in Lausanne we don't mind meeting you there.

Cheers

None that I'm aware of On which days and times, would you be able to play? My wife plays as well, so we'd be 3 already and would need at least one more person. Anybody else interested?

That's fine with us. We'll be on holidays next week though, so hopefully we can plan something starting 1st week of June.

Anyone else care to join on one of these days?

Hi all,

I've just seen this thread, and I'll be keen to join in with any Badminton games in Lausanne after work. I can make any weekday evenings except Thursdays (french lesson nights!).

Re: Badminton Partner in Lausanne

hi all,
i would like to advertize the existence of our badminton group here in Lausanne. we play every wednesday (except during school holidays) from 20-22 close to La Sallaz in the gym of the school Coteau-Fleuri, Chemin de la Grangette 77, 1010 Lausanne. we have 3 courts. we play for fun and players of all different levels are very welcome to join us.
the fee depends on the number of people present, but is very low: we pay 10 CHF per hour FOR THE WHOLE GYM.
so far, we charged 35 CHF per semester for subscribers, 5 CHF per session for visitors. sounds like unfair competition, i know. well, it is

it would be great to see some of you there! just drop me a mail and we can arrange the logistics.

cheers,

norbert

Hello All,

Have I missed the moment or is there a badminton community in Lausanne? I would really like to play regularly and would appreciate any opportunity.

Many thanks,

Hello,
It is absolutely wonderful for me to join you for badminton, specially we can play at the sport center of UNIL. I am an amateur player but not bad. Have a nice time.

Re: Badminton Partner in Lausanne

hi there!

i just wanted to say that our little badminton group still exists and we would be very happy if some of you would join us!

a little quote form my post below with some details:
"we play every wednesday (except during school holidays) from 20-22 close to La Sallaz in the gym of the school Coteau-Fleuri, Chemin de la Grangette 77, 1010 Lausanne. we have 3 courts. we play for fun and players of all different levels are very welcome to join us.
the fee depends on the number of people present, but is very low: we pay 10 CHF per hour FOR THE WHOLE GYM."

we got a new money collecting system: no subscriptions anymore, the 2h gym price of 20CHF is simply divided by the no. of participants. you will pay around 5 bucks (often even less) for 2 hours and 3 courts.
this is definitely way cheaper than anything i have seen in the last years; the only downside may be the location uphill.

hope to see some of you these days!

cheers,

norbert
