anyone know of a website which publishes the current temperature of the swimming areas of the Zürichsee? ...and has anyone been in yet this year?

Re: Zürichsee temperature

Zürisee's about 18 or 19° now. Fresh but bearable. Katzensee's about 22°. Fab.

wiewarm.ch - das schweizer badi-portal

Has similar info for the rest of Switzerland.

20min will change mountain temps to badi temps on the weather page sometime soon too.

it is a widget published by wiewarm.ch which sits on your dashboard and gives constant updates about swiss lake temperatures.

i found it on apple.com under the widget download section, then under "international".

Cool, time to get the Canoe out again Türlersee is over the back of my place. But won't use the 'rip-off' camping parking.

This page provides (almost) real time water and air temperature and plots. Today water temperature (at the surface) has risen from 13° to 15° which is pretty amazing.

There must be something wrong with the webcam though since there's not a single cloud in the sky.

Well I guess the whole point of expensive parking is to deter a lot of traffic. I just hope you won't park your car illegaly on some wanderweg.

There is Free parking at the other end of the lake. Usually quite busy though.

Just have to sort out the method of transporting the canoe as it's big and heavy (double - sit on top from Ocean kayak). I have a windsurf/canoe trolley but does not work very well on this, so have to make some adjustments or make something else.
