Bikeride around Lake Zurich on May 17

Like every year, there will be a free-for-everyone bike ride around Lake Zurich on Ascension Day. Start is between 6 and 9, you have to be done by 12.30, the fee is CHF 30. Unfortunately for the bike riders, the roads are not closed. For those starting in Zurich, last year, the checkpoint was near Enge.

I am not sure yet whether I am going, it will depend on the weather.

Well... its free-for-everyone that has 30CHF. I'm looking for the value-added here. I can ride round the lake anytime with my mates...

You get free (well, not free, you pay the CHF 30 for it) food and drinks and some token for having participated successfully. Plus there are stands where you can get support if needed. So, maybe for those who are not regular bikers, it is good to know that. If you don't want any of that, of course you can also just go - just like any other day
