Aerobics classes conducted in English

Does anyone know any aerobic classes conducted in English in SG ZG ZH? Would like to pick up aerobics again after so many years but have not come across any which will be conducted in English. Thanks alot.

Re: Aerobics classes conducted in English

most words are the same in any language, so if you understand mambo, chachacha, repeater, v step etc you can basically go to any gym. and for the rest just take a look at what the others are doing. i learned step& aerobic in spanish (never had done it before and spanish is a foreign language for me) and had the best time ever, cuz if you screw up just smile and say sorry, i dont speak the language

Hi - we do a Swiss German / English yoga class in Cham - its fab. Its suprising how quickly you pick up the phrases hearing the two versions spoken for each move.
Re: English aerobics - my husband goes to some lunchtime spinning classes at Migros fitnesspark and sometimes (depending on who's in the class) they do them in English ...sometimes in Swiss German. so that might be an option??

Yeah sure, probably it's a good idea that I should just enjoy the lesson and move according to the instructor's guidance :-)

I just started step aerobics classes in one of the migros fitness parks. Ok, german is not such a problem for me, but the way the classes are there is really no need to be perfect in German, its all about right moves and repeat after the instructor.
Could be a bit different for youga and pilates as there I think it's important to understand the instructions to follow them in a correct way. But then again it's a nice way to pick up the language
Good luck !
