Does anyone know some places to Jog in Basel Stadt for an hour ? I knew there are hell a lot of streets in Basel.


But I prefer streets with less "traffic signs" or long streets with few pedestrain, where I can effectively jog either mornings or in the evening.


Are there any regulations for joggers here ? Any tags or something else

I am afraid that it is not an answer you are waiting for, but if I were you, I will just jog or take a tram to JoanniterBrücke (first after MittelerBrücke direcrtion Chemistry Buildings) and I will jog along the Rhein. a little more healty than along the street...

what does it mean - a long street?



as far I know, no sights for joggers. in the night probably it would be just good for you if you have some lights. at least in line skaters should have.

You need a jogger vignette... just kidding! No special requirements...

There are some Finnenbahns in Basel. Usually these racing tracks are public or semi-public (open at certain hours). These tracks mostly have either a soft wood layer on top or are gritted. I've found one at Pruntrutermatte and one at Rankhof.

Also, there's a Vita Parcour at Lange Erlen. These signposted tracks mostly are in forests and include signs which invite you to make exercises along the course. Look for these light blue signs:
