I think there is a pilates studio. also they might have classes at the old "happy-body gym" i think its called "techno gym" now. also at the primadonna fitness

Thanks! I found a great lady in Mendrisio.

I go to this AMAZING pilates studio. Not only is the studio gorgeous, the owner, David, is a great instructor. I actually tried pilates classes at the local gym but it's just not up the level I'm used to Los Angeles. This studio is the only place i found here in Lugano where they use the pilates reformer and cadillac.

Ask for David and tell him Cecilia sent you = ) the only thing is they have a long waiting list but if you call during the holidays when a lot of people are away, you might be able to join a class (that's how I got started during the summer....he would send me a message whenver there was a space and eventually I became a regular goer)

Cecilia, it appears from the photo that Deseo is set up for reformer classes. Is that the case?

Classes are the best because they tend to be more affordable, and they're just more fun.

Yes, they are reformer and cadillac machines. All classes use the machine. I do a weekly group class of 4 people. Summer is perfect time to get in on the classes because a lot of people are away for vacation so there's open slots (otherwise, during the year, you'll have to be on a waiting list).


The interior design is phenomenon...you'll love it!
