A novel Anti-Litter Campaign in Lucerne

Switzerland isn't known for its excessive litter but the authorities in Lucerne have felt the need to start a campain to reduce the amount of litter. they seem to be going about it in a novel way.

Would this make you not drop litter? Would you use any of the novel methods?

More details

Brilliant! The hopscotch one is especially inviting. This plan will definitely draw attention to the cause, and may possibly compel some people to pick up litter which is not their own in order to throw it away! Now THAT would be a successful litter plan.

Very cool.
I never liter.
But I like both country's ideas to try and make people think.

The littering in the US is heart rending.
It is one of the things that I truly loved about Switzerland.

I was wondering what they were for, thought it was some random street graffitti.

Some of those are very good ideas, but I think the basketball one won't fare as well.

I've seen the swiss play (or attempt) to play basketball, this will definitely lead to more garbage on the ground around the can

I wondered how well they may go down if they are all around the old town for instance.

I thought the same. How many will pick up the litter that misses?
