The South African explorer Mike Horn will be soon Swiss. He will receive the Helvetian nationality next Wednesday,
indicates on Friday his news service based to Château-d'Oex ( VD) where the adventurer lives.

Author of exceptional exploits everything around the globe, Mike Horn, been born in 1966 in Johannesburg,
is established in Switzerland since about twenty years.
" I travelled all over the world on numerous occasions but only one Switzerland gets me the feeling to
return at home ", he explains in a communiqué.

Mike Horn, his New Zealand wife and her two daughters will be officially naturalized on Wednesday in Lausanne,
during the ceremony for the future citizens in the presence of a delegation of the Council of State vaudois.
On Thursday, the explorer will give to Château-d'Oex the last news of the expedition Pangaea on 2008-2012.


Mike Horn will present to this opportunity the candidates of the 9th stage of the program young explorers.
They have to gain their place for the adventure " Passage of the Northwest " which will take place in Nunavut in Canada during August.
