Re: Missing man in Wengen

A slip, a bang on the head; going off somewhere in a dazed, confused state?

Or ..... just a Reggie Perrin style dissappearance - intentional or not.

Surely if the worst had happened, involving an accident, it wouldn't have gone undiscovered till now?

I wonder if the truth will ever come to light.

Thanks for bumping this up to the top of people's minds again.

Many people here were concerned about him and will be interested to know what, if any, progress was made or if any additional details had come to light. If it is appropriate for you to share anything, I'm sure people on the forum would be interested

john23 I am so sorry your uncle is still missing. I so often check if there are news, and think of him and you and your family.

Little shocking to know this...I think you can take help of local gemeinde and police if needed to trace him.The gemeinde generally has notice boards where missing posters could be displayed

Re: Missing man in Wengen

I just read this thread.
Heartbreaking!

I went on holidays in Grindelwald 2 years ago and I experienced how misleading the mountains there can be. But that's from the mouth of a non-experienced hiker.

Very strange that no trace has been found yet!
My thoughts are with you and your family John.
