Armed men on Friday kidnapped two Swiss in south-west Pakistan, news agencies reported.
The two Swiss, who had travelled from Islamabad, entered Baluchistan province around 5pm local time and “had been registered by police at a check point”, a local government official said.

Their abandoned vehicle was later found near Minara, in the Loralai district, about 170 kilometres north-west of the province capital Quetta.

It's really sad that that happened and i fell sorry for the families of those taken, but i does bring up the question, what did the swiss ever do were a peacefull people

i read the story in a local pakistani newspaper. i wonder what were they doing in that particular region called zhob is notorious for the kidnappings. it si quite unsafe for the locals. for tourism people go in the north towads for the mountain ranges. it is not normal to travel to that part..

Well, tbh going to Baluchistan where kidnapping and target killing happens on a daily basis is crazy if not suicidal.

I am a Pashtun and even I won't go to that province or city.

Recovering them will be next to impossible without paying any ransom of some sort.
