keep thinking about writing "to late, we're already here" under those posters..there are loads of them on the way to work.. though they seem to be drowned out by loads of hastily thrown up ones of people who look like you wouldn't trust them with children..so I presume there must be some kind of pointless Swiss voting thing soon.

But you've got to admit those posters are more entertaining than just a mindless daub of paint over the existing posters.

I was hoping that those controversial SVP posters would inspire the other parties to become more creative about their own campaigns. But I haven`t noticed anything comparable to it.

funny thing is, the thread was about SVP-stickers and PaddyG wrote the he hates socialists and hippies (wtf?)...you weren't astonished by that...

The SP has done quite a good and intelligent posters campaigns addressing REAL problems and real issues. Far more creative than the boring repetive rubbish from the SVP

If you check my posting history, most of it is frivolous and flippant rubbish, often designed to offend the easily-offended. I'm not sure where I come from is entirely relevant though.
Having said that, I still think socialists are scumbags. I'm possibly tainted by a former neighbour who called the police on us because of a Christmas Day dinner party many moons ago, who is now a leading SP politician in Fribourg. He's still a tosser.

I'm not so sure. One of the SP posters in Bern is just some geezer holding a rose. Maybe he's looking for a date?
