| | | The sexiest Swiss German accent
So according to the wise reporters at Blick am Abend, the Bündner dialekt is the sexiest in Switzerland.
See page 2 of the link below: http://php.blick.ch/baa_epaper/2011-09-22_zh.pdf
But isn't this rather like choosing between being kicked in the knackers and being kicked in the teeth? Untrained, my ears may be, but I think it's safe to say that had Cassenova the selection of which language to perform his many seductions, Swiss German wouldn't make it into the top 100.

I don't know, I kind of like the way Swiss German sounds
The Bünder dialect sounds nice, but I haven't heard enough of it to be able to distinguish it from Züridüütsch...

personally i like the Luzern one the best... its pointy and i like their r, and they sing song just a bit.
the one i dont like is st gallen, it sounds very nasal to me and almost to me sounds like the CH D equivalent of Sächsisch.
Bernese is cool too, i love how the double L has turned into "au"; we have a developer who's always talking about "schnittstaue"... heh. its hard to understand, however.

If she is bending over me and naked, then the Swiss German accent becomes sexy.

I have to defend the Fribourg Senslerdeutsch. Just because it's just a bit weird, very sing-songy, as it were.

+1 vote for Büündnertuutsch
Some of the dialects are actually very soft and, as someone else already commented, sing-songy, and with little or none of the harshness of other dialects. Kinda like a Galway accent compared to a Belfast one (apologies to any Bailfaaarters reading this), for example.
Worst for me by far is always Thurgautuutsch - for me, it's the local equivalent of a rasping, abrasive Liverpudlian accent.
(I hope the missus doesn't read this or I'm in the deep doodoo )

I suspect this is turning into eveyone saying that they love the Swiss dialect from where they live? | Quote: | | | | | For the record: Casanova himself actually DID spend some time in Zurich... | | | | | Means diddly. I've been in Zürich three and a half years and not learned Swiss German and done alright. Perhaps I'm Cassanova reincarnate?

I couldn't say about accents as I haven't heard all of them and didn't pay attention to the sexiness of those I have heard. But I can say the Bündner lasses are the most beautiful in Switzerland. Just take a day trip to Chur and walk around the streets to see what I mean. | | The following 4 users would like to thank grumpygrapefruit for this useful post:

I have found a website with mp3 samples of Swiss dialects, for all the poor lost souls like myself, who haven't got a clue what they sound like. http://www.dialekt.ch/ (see: Liste)
Is this the sexiest dialect? http://www.dialekt.ch/mp3/graubuenden/Meinherz_Chur.htm | | The following 6 users would like to thank Sagitta for this useful post:

As soon as MM started to speak she seemed to achieve a state of orgasmic ecstasy. She then went off in search of the German boyfriend she had picked up en route and insisted the two men talked to each other so that the boyf could experience the most 'beautiful' Swiss German dialect.
Needless to say, we were amused by the whole incident, and although seeming fairly disgruntled to start with, I think the boyfriend managed to benefit from the meeting as shortly after he was dragged into their bedroom and we didn't see them again... | | The following 2 users would like to thank mountain girl for this useful post:
