I found this news report on Blick this evening...and after doing some initial research on the topic, I was rather shocked at how devastating this drug is. It's called "crocodile" and it originates from Russia. Apparently, it's a mixture of various chemicals/drugs and is by far more lethal and dangerous than heroin.

Yeah, and I've never even heard of it until this evening. I just hope, that this will not develope into an epidemic. Back in the 80s up to almost the mid 90s, Switzerland had a serious drug problem. I'm talking about needles all over the place...and even "crack" was prevalent back in the days.

Read about this the other day. Should be essential viewing for teenagers before some idiots here try it out for kicks (no doubt many already have).

It's arrogant to ask why people do this to themselves when we're OK in one of the nicest places on the planet, but you have to ask what kind of lows humans can find themselves in to think that poisoning themselves is somehow a good idea because it "feels nice" for a few minutes or hours.

Interestingly wiki says that the drug (phama) was invented in the US but (only?) used in Switzerland. 8-10 times as strong as morphine. But it's very easy to make and the street drug is impure.

The bone sawing in that second video was incredibly disturbing. I have never, EVER seen anything like that.

Exactly! I've never seen anything like this before...that's why I wanted to share it with people. As Assassin said, kids need to be educated about it..not that we'll have fatalities because somebody wanted to try something new.

What Assassin said. Kids need to be educated and I think this horrible video will have some impact.

I understand that on party forums the warnings are out. "Luckily" it is a needle drug so kids will be less eager to try it our "for kicks" (sticking a needle into yourself acts as a deterrent). That is why heroin (which used to be seen as a "loser drug") is not part of the drugs kids are prone to do (although its seems it is on the rise ).

I expect that the more hardcore heroin addicts will fall victim to this as according to the article it apparently can be pushed as heroin. People will buy it unknowingly.

Interesting. I never thought of it as chemically induced lepra. You're right though...similar symptoms. What gets me, there are people paid to developed things which deliberatly kill people. Imagine what all that negative energy could do if diverted towards a good cause.

I understand your concern, but those people got paid for developing a new, more efficient analgetic and sedative medicament. Medicaments can be abused or their adverse effects can eventually override the therapeutic effects. You can't really blame the developers for that.
