Believe it or not, not 100% of the content of the DM is complete tosh. As it says in the article, this was also featured in Le Matin (which I believe is of the same political leaning as the DM). I'm not quite sure what your point was about the DM... surely the topic of discussion is the story itself, not how shit you think the DM is.

Just make sure you stay under the legally allowed limit of 1% THC concentration. If you want to grow more than 4 plants, you should apply to the authorities

Pushers are by definition criminals, and therefore not Swiss but foreigners. They bring with them their inferior foreign cannabis, or import it from their foreign sources. This is not Qualité Suisse cannabis and should be avoided at all costs by party members who....err...like to party. Grow your own. If you vote for the SVP we will increase the limit on home grown plants from 4 to 10, and introduce subsidies for Swiss farmers who wish to produce on a larger scale (10-20 plants).

Has anyone been able to confirm whether this is true or not. I moved to Bern in November from Boston and have found it pretty difficult to find herbage. So maybe growing it would be a solution. Thanks!

It's true, but only applies (if I am not mistaken) to the Cantons Geneva, Neuchatel, Jura and Wallis, and if growing plants with a maximum THC content of 1%.

That's Bunk!

That 1% limit qualifies it for what we call Bunk Weed. Indoor growers in California are reaching up to 30% THC these days.
