FWIW, I was in Luzern about 2 hours after the OP (about 19:30, 06.06.12), and I heard what sounded like about 10 cannon shots.
EDIT: Heard 7 more (counted 'em this time) at 06:00 in Hergiswil on the next morning (07.06.12).
