Anyone lost a Violin?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...ty-office.html

Someone's handed in a Violin left on a train in Bern. Turns out to be a Stradivariius worth millions.

Re: Anyone lost a Violin?

Bugger. I even did a search for Violin and Stradivarius in case someone had posted it already. Just shows the downsides of some people not including a meaningful title and/or brief precis when posting URLs.

Not sure about that. I'd hardly expect it to parse the contents of linked URLs. Or to recognise "Stradiwhovious" or whatever it was that someone else deliberately (I hope) mistyped.

compared to every other forum i have visited it is... it only searches for titles and need to go to advanced to search for words in the contents, other forums do that from the basic search .. so in my opinion its shit

I know who lost this! A rather eccentric but brilliant musician, who would as likely forget his trousers. He was beside himself when he lost the violin - he thought it had been stolen, but really had no idea. Yes it was worth millions...
