so it wasn't a pedestrian. That's why he was hit 15 times, you're not allowed to walk on the highway!

I listened to it on the Radio, all morning came home to see it on the news in the evening. Forget that! What is wrong with the Swiss TV stations here? Had a report of SF1 for 15 mins how they were checking trucks somewhere else on the Autobahn (that's not news) then some Political things in Bern. There's never any real news from here on SF1 at all! I'm so tired of not seeing or hearing News on that station. SF1 sucks!! Is there any other way to actually see news on a TV here? Don't even ask me about the Weather persons on the roof, they couldn't predict the weather on their way home.

Dark, foggy, unlit highway with speeds of 120km/h, person flat on the road....for most people it would have been hard to stop in time. After the first few vehicles, he would not have resembled much more than a large "road-kill". | | This user would like to thank litespeed for this useful post: | |

I suspect a good chunk of those 15 hit something else. Or nothing.

So much so that any subsequent hits by other vehicles possibly may not make that much difference, although I'm inclined to go along with mirfield's interpretation of events.

Years ago, my sister was nursing on an emergency ward, and a young lad who had been hit 5 times by different vehicles on a flyover was brought in. The poor soul was very dead - but his face was unmarked, and his grieving family could identify him without having to see terrible injuries. Curious what happens sometimes.

There also is at least one local TV company in St. Gallen.
In case of SF1 you apparently watched either Tagesschau or 10vor10 , but you should have watched Schweiz-Aktuell (19.00-19.25) for local news. On a federal level SF1/SF2 has still a monopoly position.
The weather forecast from that roof is ridiculous and their changing the Meteo from Standard German to dialect(s) made things rather worse
But the company who delivers the forecasts, MeteoSchweiz, has quite a good accuracy. They in fact of course deliver the whole stuff in written form which means in Standard German and the speakers then transform the text when reading.

The question is: presuming they actually work out who hit him first, what are the other 14 going to be charged with, if anything?
