No, but it makes a difference to us in terms of the humane way in whixh they die, hence why this thread was given life.

Because you can't eat fur. Regardless, humans have been hunting and farming animals as a food source since time memorial, there is nothing wrong with it in principle, the only problem comes from overusing those resources (for example what we are doing to our poor seas) and the strain that overpopulation puts on it.

I agree completly with the overpopulated world, but what has it to do with few people farming cats or whatever to get fur?

Do you belive fur industry ever had an impact on the meat and other farming industry taking away food suply and agricultural land?
