Skyscraper story for real?

Read in the telegraph there is some insane proposal to build a skyscrapper in an alpine village?

Is there any truth in this, surely/hopefully not...

Re: Skyscrapper story for real

Tearing down the sky? I think it isn't real.

Regarding the skyscraper - ""It's marketing," Benedict Loderer, an architecture critic, told Basler Zeitung newspaper, adding that he did not believe the project would come to fruition."

Re: Skyscraper story for real?

The project has not been officially presented yet. (I think it's due tomorrow)

AFAIK it's real, but I doubt it will ever happen.

Definitely not. This is Switzerland -- they'd have to take it to the recycling centre.

It'd be a bit crap in a village. Much more impressive at the top of a mountain somewhere.

God! What an eyesore! Hopefully the villagers have more sense than the idiots proposing this.

I thought it was an early April Fool's joke.
Hopefully it will come to nothing.

That's not it. That's a private residence in Mombai. Still ugly though.

Ah yes. Too bad if you have your house in the shadow of it.
