I'm sure no one is saying a translation of the word for black is an insult in and of itself. I don't think any word at all is intrinsically insulting (some words are at best usually insulting). But please don't unilaterally declare something to be insulting or not insulting as it's generally accepted that this is personal, or evolving from that, community led.
