1. The girl has had her heart broken twice already by a foreigner, as they left the country for another job.
2. Your friend was being pushy, arrogant, annoying, drunk etc.
3. She is a lesbian
4. She is racist
5. She just doesnt like your friend. Chemistry.
6. She just wants to enjoy a night our that doesnt involve males. Is that so hard to believe?

If I wouldnt know any better, all the complaints people make here regarding racism in Switzerland, Id think we are living in Nazi Germany during the WWII.
I fixed that for you.

I feel chemistry. I hope you are not a lesbian, cause I would totally not respect / accept that.

Re: Is this racism?

events from today:

I drive to the bahnhof with my wife and I am circling the parking lot looking for a spot to park. All of the sudden a car comes around the turn, stops and the passenger exits. I suspect right away that it is undecover police due to appearance and somewhat visible protection vest under his shirt. He walks over to the sidewalk and asks for the ID papers from a (suspicious) male that was standing there.

10 minutes later I am standing in the front of the bahnhof, waiting for my wife to renew her abo, and I notice the undercover police driving around and looking at people.

A few minutes later, an old man with farmer appearance with a beer in his hand, stands up from a bench and walks over to a black guy who was sitting by the bahnhof entrance and starts yelling at him telling his to go away because he is black... the black guy seemed shocked and the old guy became aggressive and was acting as if he wanted to physically assault the young black man. I was standing across the street and I did not intervene, nor did any of the people who were close by.

Today it is even rasism if you ask someone from which country he comes from.
Tom,
The politically correct question has recently been agreed upon.

It is:-
"Excuse me, which planet do you come from?"

The Martians were of course outvoted in this.
The Saturnians abstained,
and some Earthians accepted a nominal bribe

But nobody was offended

Racist and unacceptable- why on earth did you NOT intervene? Why come on Ef to report sheer and clear racism- and do nothing about it?

The second part is clear racism, but I have no idea why you included the first part?

I'm assuming there's some point to it, possibly you think the police should have intervened? But without knowing why they were there undercover it's impossible to say why they chose the priorities they did.

It's a train station when you write in English. And no, you shouldn't feel good for posting your story here if you wimped out of helping someone who needed assistance. Go hang your head in digital shame dude.

I understand your dilemma. My mother also told me to be nice to old people and don't behave racist. That makes the situation too complex to handle. With looking away and posting your story on EF, you did the right thing and showed that you are morally superior.

honestly it was a tough situations, Because on one hand I understand swiss society and try to go with it with the wind, on the other hand I wanted to slap the old alcoholic and to kick the police in the head for checking on the wrong people.

So to make a point: the young black guy was just sitting there minding his business, using the sbb wifi on his phone. The fact that he was assaulted and verbally abused while he was in peace will cause him to vent negatively against swiss society. That could be in the form of throwing thrash out of the car window on the highway (a couple of months ago I witnessed a group of young black men disposing 2 bags of mcdonalds thrash out of the window on the highway), or vandalizing property or assaulting someone...

cause and effect... this event will produce a certain response to the action in the form of another event.

So, if you had told off that guy "with farmer appearance", no McDonald's trash would be disposed of on the highway.

You seem to believe that because he is black, he will respond to this event by littering, vandalism and or assault? Is that what black people do, in your experience? What about white people - do they just come on to EF and whine?

Describing someone as "with farmer appearance"is definitely racist.

Describing someone with a beer as an alcoholic is also racist (or delusional).

YOU should have been arrested!

I'd say it was more classist than racist Tom

You're right about the beer, we have no idea whether he had just finished a night shift and was having an after work beer (look at the pubs around London's major markets as examples). Although, it is possible that he had decided a can of lager was a good choice for breakfast - arguably a good decision having reviewed the cost (and calorie content) of a Starbuck's Frappucino.

I'd argue that BF was being ageist by calling that person "an old alcoholic", and by stating that they "wanted to slap them" is indicating a cognitive thought process prior to instigating racial violence
