Vote for Foreigners

This website explains the pros and cons of the next two major decisions for the Swiss population: namely the deportation and the taxation. The reults will be available on 28 November 2010.

You have to register once. Then choose your language. Then click & agree that you have read all the information. Then you can vote on the various citizens' initiatives, now and in the future. I found the information very clear and helpful.

Maybe we can make this a sticky?

Obviously the Government will not count your votes, but the results will no doubt be published in the Swiss press. Give it a try?

Re: Vote for Foreigners

The baloti.ch. project is carried out by an interdisciplinary team at the Zentrum für Demokratie Aarau in cooperation with the University of Neuchatel. Diversified project partnerships ensure that the project will be made public all over the country.

Sounds interesting - but I see anyone with a vote not bothering with this site and anyone who can't vote officially voting here.

I'm not convinced. Plus I don't do registration....

You seem to be a bit negative there. So do you mean you can't be bothered, you don't trust cookies, or that you are not interested in how 30% of the population might have voted?

Re: Vote for Foreigners

I have to say--that is a brutally made site, not very user friendly at all.
