Multi-car and motorbike insurance

Most people moving from the UK or US to CH will have been struck by the massive increase in the cost of motor insurance. The strengthening Swiss Franc has only made this situation worse over the last few years.

We have several cars and motorbikes between the 2 of us and despite the interchangeable plaque system are still paying an absolute fortune for motoring insurance. I'm thinking about buying a 3rd motorbike but the punitive cost of insurance is a serious negative.

We can only drive one vehicle at a time so why should we be paying the full cost of insurance for additional vehicles?

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced multi-car or motorbike policy in CH?

"buying a 3rd motorbike but the punitive cost of insurance", you should have been riding bikes here in the 60s and 70s - insurance was CHF 3000.- for a bike over 250 cc! I'm afraid you're just a bit spoilt.

How very helpful.

Swiss motor insurance is ridiculously expensive and there is no need for it to be so. As long as people like you say it used to be much more expensive and imply that we should therefore be grateful things will never change.

It doesn't matter whether I have 3 or 300 motorcycles. Paying a full premium for each one is crazy.
