Greetings!

Noticed that my Tomtom doesn't seem to have the speed, errm sorry meant safety , cameras and they are a little harder to spot than in the UK. Is it just my TT (still trying to find usb cable in 30 or so boxes of stuff ), has anyone got TT with accurate data? If so, did you d/l from TT with map or was it purchased seperately?

Mine came from the net if I remember rightly it was a couple of pounds as a separate bolt on.

Just a gentle reminder to check out the motoring thread - the use of 'safety camera' information on Tom Tom is illegal in CH - there are stories of the customs chaps & chapesses examining the said navigation devices and seizing them and fining the owner.

hehe mines on a smart phone/min pc on a storage card, so if they can a) find the exe then b) work out where the POI's are then they'd be v lucky!! Plus they'd have to find it in my pocket first lol!

There is legislation coming out in the UK to ban Radar Detectors....there was a very long thread on this subject on the forum - just can't find it now. I, like you say stuff em, has to be the Swiss that make it illegal.....

Saying that there's quite a sweeping statement about if you use this GPS camera stuff you must be speeding. The french ones are the worse on motorways they blend into the background!

I'd say not true, I try to stick to the limit this device helps me do this and keeps the chuffs in my pocket.

Seems like a war going on between motorists and the state.
