Train ticket fines

Hi All.

Hope I can get advice or directions on what to do.
I live close to the border of canton VD and GE. About a week a go, I fell a sleep in the train and woke up on the stop after my home stop. which is unfortunately the Canton VD stop Coppet.
I got a fine from the ticket checkers this eveninig.

How ever they gave me a copy of the referance number which I unfortunately missplaced. Yesterday when I went to renew my GE train pass I realised that the address they have is a very old address of mine and they will send me the payable fine to that address which I havent been living for over a few years.

I would like to know who i need to inform in order to change the address and get the fine ticket to be sent to my new address before its to late.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Kind regards,
Nish

I'm a little confused. Did they fine you after the fact? How did they know that you feel asleep on the train a week ago and gave you a fine this evening? Can you explain this a little more clearly to elicit better advise on what to do?

Re: Train ticket fines

Why not go to the CFF main station in Geneva and ask them?

They didn't copy the address from your Livret pour Etrangers?
