Car dealers 'for export'

Anybody know of dealers that buy old cars specifically to export them ?

I got rid of my old RHD volvo to a German dealer, but managed to avoid direct contact with him by insisting the garage I was buying a new car from took it off me and did all the paperwork.

But I got the impression from them that it's mainly non-Swiss dealers that do this. Not sure why, or even if I got that wrong.

What are you trying to sell?

Plenty of places in Chur (of all places) - but a number out Hinwil direction as well as dubendorf/kloten/regensdorf areas

I get business cards put on my BMW all the time, sold the last one that way.

My 94 SAAB V6... it's not worth (to me) the expense of various repairs. Doubt I'd manage to sell it to any of the locals.... but it's in generally good repair and has, at the least, very good winter/summer tyres both on decent alloys. So I'm just looking to move it on ASAP without all the hassle of a private sale.

If anyone can pass on contact details of dealers who might be interested, I'd be grateful.

I am amazed you have not had business cards put on the window, I have had them in Basel. Search for auto export in the phone book

Can anyone recommend a a place I can sell my old Audi A6 to? It is old and will fail it's MFK which is due very soon, the engine is still going strong though. It has done just over 200,000 Km's so I doubt I would be able to sell it here even though I would happily take just CHF500 for it. I thought I would try my luck with one of the export companies (of course now I need one I can't find any of the business cards that were left on my car) and looking in the phone book is not helping much.

I collected my new car this morning so would like to sell the Audi asap.

He speaks excellent english (his grandmother lived in London) - and is IMHO the best place to go in Zurich for cheap cars. If he likes what he sees he'll buy it off you - or give you an idea of how much the MFK will cost!
