When if at all can I park legally on double yellow crosses ?

Hello, in Zurich there are a few puzzling yellow-striped configurations that I would like to understand better, if you can help ?

One is a yellow stripe cross. When it says CARS I understand that it is for Coaches only. But sometimes it does not say anything, so what can/cannot be done on those spaces ?

Another is a small yellow cross prolonged by a straight yellow line. What does this one mean ?

thank you and best regards

Re: When if at all can I park legally on double yellow crosses ?

As I have been informed by my driving instructor: a space marked with yellow lines or a yellow cross means "no parking" - usually it's a spot reserved for government/police/fire vehicles or taxis/public transport or something like that. You are allowed to stop there and drop off/pick up or load and unload as long as you don't get in the way of the intended use.

However - sometimes the yellow cross is time-limited - that is, it's a no-parking zone during some times and a parking zone at other times - if this is the case it's always marked on a sign nearby - usually there will be a sign marked with a P - indicating the times at which you can park (often weekends and out of work hours). If you can't see a sign then don't park on the yellow cross.
