| So I think my car has been the victim of a slight clip on the driver's door mirror because the cover came flying off when I was on the motorway today - fortunately I was in the outside lane about to exit left and it landed in the central reservation so no-one hit by it.
Anyway, I am off to the UK for several days and found a replacement cover that is already primed.
Question is how easy is it to paint to match car and fit - anyone done this before ? Or are there garages in the Zurich area that might do this for me?
Thanks for your help | |

what car and what colour?
Metallic colours are almost impossible to match and a paint shop would blend it in by spraying some of the car as well. you'll never match it using spray cans from halfords, your best bet would be to find a automotive spray shop and get them to match the colour and make up a couple of cans.
But,
Most manufactures supply these covers ready painted, so check with a main dealer. the paint won't match 100% but it'll be a damn sight closer then trying to spray and match it.
