Just bought a used motorcycle without numberplates, and need to be tested. I should't be a big problem with the test , it is in good condition(I used to work as motorbike machanic in denmark), but you newer now with the swiss system.

I have swiss drivers lincens and b-permit. And a swiss car.


The big question is:

Where do i start...

1. Do i start with the test. And how do i get there with out plates. Is it possible to get some kind of "test number plates" for one day. Or do i need to transport it.

2. Or do i start with the insurrances and registartion stuff first??

Start with the insurance - they will supply you with temp cover to get to the test.

I moved here with my bike. I need to change the registration and get it registered in Zug.

What is the procedure? same as above? Get insurance first as I already have international cover from Hungary (where it is registered already).
