Does anybody know any companies in Basel that I could contact to arrange transport for 20 people from Schwarzwald to Basel (approx. 30/40 min. drive). I think a mini-bus are smaller vans might be the best option, but maybe there are other options? It is necessary to transport wedding guests to Basel and back.

A minibus is a problem because they will usually seat nine, so you need two - and the extra driver is what's driving the price up. Also, if the trip is Schwarzwald - Basel - Schwarzwald, you'd be better off with a local firm, a Basel firm will charge you for getting the coach into Schwarzwald, and back at the end of the trip.

How about Stiefvater Reisen in Binzen? They also seem to have "luxury" coaches with more comfortable seats, not unimportant if people are dressed for a wedding.

Also, depending on exactly where in the Schwarzwald, there is decent train service. Have taken the train to many parts of the Schwarzwald from Basel via Freiberg, works very well.

I will not abet the invasion of Basel by Schwarzwaldian Goths!

To drive a bus with more than 15 seats requires a PSV driving license. Ask in Germany as suggested, for a small coach with driver.
