I am planning for a trip from basel to paris in coming months and I heard TGV would be cheaper option if booked in advance. Well I didnt knew it was 3 months advace for peak rush months, anyway I am booking from Mulhouse (FR) to paris and return.

There is train from sbb basel to Mulhouse (FR) but for return I noticed the last train from Mulhouse (FR) to basel sbb is around 21:00
Now the problem is the train from Paris to Mulhouse is at 20:00 hrs and I guess I wont be able to catch the SBB train from Mulhouse (FR) to basel sbb. Is there any other option to travel from Mulhouse (FR) to basel sbb?

A quick check on www.voyages-sncf.com shows the last train to Basel leaving Mulhouse Ville at 21:46.

But why don't you take the TGV all the way from Basel to Paris and back?
