Flights for CHF 35 ???

Hi, what do you think of this "bargain"?
I think it can't be real...

http://www.groupon.ch/deals/groupon-travel

You can buy how many you want... but what's with the taxes? How do you know how much taxes you have to pay?

Thanks.

Re: Flights for CHF 35 ???

haven't tried, but looked interesting, so I googled a bit. there are a lot of people complaining that there are no flights available if you try to book. also see here, apparently their quoted taxes and fees are somewhat suspiciously high

Re: Flights for CHF 35 ???

I did a quick test flight on their website and the taxes were ridiculously high so didn't bother with this "deal".

Don't do it! We're stuck with 4 of them we can't seem to use because the taxes of the flights are more expensive than purchasing directly from the airline.

Groupon has lots of scams and this is one of the worst ones I've seen.

This can end up pretty expensive as was discussed in the Tages Anzeiger a few days ago:

Re: Flights for CHF 35 ???

Surprised! But after seeing "from!!!" Ya you hardly find that price when you actually try to book. Always extra added on top. Too good to be true.

Re: Flights for CHF 35 ???

Ops! OMG I didn't book that shit...

I was rather impressed that so many people took that "deal". There was like 4000 people... This type of things should be prohibited. They are misleading...
