SBB website not showing yearly point-to-point travelpass price

I'm looking at the best option for me to commute back and forth from Gland to Geneva for the next six months or so, full-time. I imagine that this will be the point-to-point (P2P) travelcard.

With simply a demi-tarif, 20 trips in one month would cost ~200CHF.

For a one-month P2P travelcard, the website tells me it would be 175CHF, which is already more economical. On a side note, I'm assuming this travelcard is valid for the entire month, including nights/weekends/holidays - true?

When I try to search for the yearly rate, it continues to only show 175CHF and the one-month period. Anyone else having this problem? Or, alternatively, does anyone know if the monthly rate is simply multiplied by 12 to make the annual rate?

Best to stop in the CFF/SBB office and get the details directly from them, they can show you the most economical option. I don't think you can purchase it online.

The point to point monthly ticket brings some savings, and you can use it anytime on the stated route during the validity of the ticket. It really becomes good value when you make two return journeys per day on the route. It's only available at SBB /CFF offices, and maybe you need to take a passport photo?

Re: SBB website not showing yearly point-to-point travelpass price

I found out that the annual cost is 1575CHF, which makes it 131.25 per month.

Re: SBB website not showing yearly point-to-point travelpass price

But, don't forget these tickets have no "guarentee" if you lose the annual ticket you have lost CHF 1'575, if you lose the monthly ticket you have only lost CHF 175.

And if you choose your summer holidays wisely you can save on your rail fare (Not buy a ticket for that period) as well.
