still would like to bring this this to the notice of the concerned authorities.
You think the concerned authorities haven't yet found out trams don't run on schedule?

Re: Basel - Tram 1 line delay

The problem with many expats is that they think their (old) country is falling apart and Switzerland is a utopia.

For a couple of weeks a year, temperatures in London can drop below zero and public transport is affected. Sometimes it even snows.

Here in Basel for a couple of weeks a year the temperature can drop below -10 and public transport is affected. Sometimes it even snows.

You get exactly the same distruption. Unfortunately. However, my bicycle seems to work in all weathers, you lazy lazy people

Yes. This route is like the most soft and easy target for this winter.

Re: Basel - Tram 1 line delay

Blackout in the Brausebad area left parts of L1 and L6 out of order today.

There were announcements being made about this on the commute this morning. No ETA for reparing.

Re: Basel - Tram 1 line delay

Yes. This happened in the morning at 7 45AM. The tram I was going suddenly had all lights off and stopped in the middle of the road. We were then asked to leave in 5 minutes due to some technical problem.

Small drops make a mighty ocean . Perhaps too many complaints will make the process faster. Wishful thinking...

A house fire last night / this morning closed down part of the 6 which would not have helped either :

Not sure who you would complain to however....

Re: Basel - Tram 1 line delay

Bloody outrageous. Tram broke down yesterday - something to do with the brakes. I was late for work. Just not acceptable.

Can I sue? And if yes, whom?

TIA.
