Hi all, I apologise if this has already been done, I have searched but am still struggling to get a relevant and up to date answer.

Basically, I will be moving to Switzerland from the UK in a few weeks with my family. I will be driving, with all our belongings we are bringing in the car, using the channel tunnel and then driving through France and over the border into Switzerland.

The question I have is whether I need to fill any customs forms out and if so does anyone have a link? Also, anything I should watch out for?

I imagine this question has been answered previously and if so a link to that thread would be much appreciated.

We definitely have advantages over new members there - we get a lot of practice searching as not everything is easy to find.

Stickies at the top of some sections contain links to many outside sources and other threads - sometimes even with a short description of what the links actually contain. In the Introductions forum there is a very good one, lots of help for new members - including tips on how to search!

I am a pretty new member, have only been in Switzerland since end of November, but already seem to spend half my life searching so am also getting lots of practice
