SBB Tickets for senior citizens

I'm struggling to find the info I need on the SBB website - does anyone know if individual tickets for senior citizens are at a reduced price?

I've got some guests coming over, some of whom are over 65 - I can see that you can buy passes for senior citizens, but they're not going to be travelling enough to make that worthwhile. But I can't see anywhere that confirms individual tickets have a senior citizen rate. I tried doing a dummy purchase on the SBB iPhone app, but that seemed to be at the same price.

Does anyone know how this works?

Re: SBB Tickets for senior citizens

As far as I know, there are no special rates for Senior Citizens with the exception of the Annual Cards. However, if you check out the Sticky, there are so many possibilities that you might find another solution - Gemeinde Tages Karten, (Commune Day Cards), after 9 a.m. day cards etc. This Old Thread Travel Passes for Visitors (also linked into the Sticky) has a lot of information but it's old, so check it all out beforehand.
