What is the exact coverage of "Kurzstrecke"?

Hi,

I've been always wondering that what's the exact coverage of "Kurzstrecke".

"Kurzstrecke" is a ticket that I can use bus/tram/train(?) 6 times in short way travel. (5-6 stations?), as far as I know.

But it says that this ticket is valid for 30 minutes.
What happend if I travel more than 6 stations (within single zone) with this ticket in 30 minutes?
May I use this ticket for short way round trip in 30 minutes?
Can I buy this ticket in a ticket machine not in Libero shop?
(I've bought this ticket in Libero shop, so I couldn't buy it during weekend)

Cheers

It means you can travel to any of the stops as noted on the maschine (in Zurich they list the places you may travel, not sure about Bern). You get a reduced price for the ticket because it's only a short journey and you can only travel during the 30 minute period.

The Kurztstrecke destinations valid from the source are listed on the bottom of every machine.

It is a short trip ticket in one direction for a period of time as well.

Are you sure? I've not found anything contradictory on the ZVV website but I wonder if a controller will let you off the hook if he finds you travelling in the Kurzstrecke area, but the opposite direction.
