| First driving license in der Schweiz
I want to get my own driving license in Switzerland, after finishing the driving-school in another country (Romania). Basically I passed the theoretical exam and had driving lessons, but haven't had enough time to take the actual driving exam for a license. Can't really go back to Romania because the "school" evidence is expired so I would have to start from scratch therefore I want to get it in Switzerland, more precisely in Bern.
I have read about it and apparently I need 8 hours of (here I was confused...of learning how to drive carefully?!) and 10 hours of first-aid lessons. Then I can take the theoretical exam and I get a temporary 2-year driving license. Then in these 2 years, I'm supposed to learn how to drive (which I already did in Romania) and take the driving exam, right? Please correct me if I haven't understood the process fully.
What I'm mostly interested now: has anyone done the 8+10 hours of preparation stuff around Bern? Where exactly? And I'd need them in english because my german and/or french are really low.
Thank you!
