Cancelling GA

Hello,
currently I have GA paid monthly. It costs +- same as monthly ticket Lausanne-Geneva, and I have free travelling all over this place, which is great. I like the idea that I can cancel it anytime. But it is slightly more expensive than regular yearly one.
So here is question - how does it work with yearly GA? You pay once, and there is no way you can cancel it with getting partial money back? Something like half-fare, where they paid me proportional amount when switching to GA...

An annual GA costs circa CHF10 a day and can be cancelled ( on a sliding scale ) at any time after the first 4 months.
