I have category B driving licence and with this I am driving my Car since last 6yrs.
recently I bought a 125cc scooter and I was told that I need to take 8 lessons (1 lesson=1hr) and then I can get licence for my scooter category A1.So i started driving my scooter on learning licence A1.and after 3 months driving with learner licence I went for these 8 lessons.
Instructor said he will make 2 sessions 4hrs each.on 1st session he finished class in 2.5 hrs and 2nd session as well in 2.5 hrs .

And after 2nd class he said that I made some mistakes with driving so he will not give me letter that i have completed these 8 lessons and i need to go back again for one more sesson and have to pay again.
I paid in advance 300frs in cash (didn't give me any reciept).

now want to know your experience, is this common ?
what should I do ?
he didn't completed the time what was promised and now asking for more fee

Sounds like you not good enough yet, riding a bike can be dangerous , you should be pleased they are sending you for 1 more hours training, it could save your life!

well I don't mind to go for one more course but is it fair to charge for 8hrs and give only 5hrs and then ask for more classes ?

Here you find at alot of places teach for 45 mins and it's an hours pay. Lessons are usually always based on this, seems anywhere from 40 to 45 min's work for an hour. My son has Music lessons for 40 mins and we are charged an hour for the Teacher.

To whom can you complain? The Strassenvekehrsamt won't believe you. I think you have been Switzerlanded!

It would of course be fair to give you the extra hour free of charge, as you had finished the first 2 sessions early. But life ain't always fair is it?

I certainly would complain at the Strassenverkehrsamt. Per law (Art. 19 VZV) one needs 8 hour to get the license. So far the OP got 5 hours and the instructor requests an other paid session of 2.5h, makes a total of 7.5h. Still a 1/2h short of the legal requirement. Report this crook.
