Car Repair in Germany - Recco!!

A little carelessness and hurry gave me the worst nightmares in recent times. I had 2 scratches and 2 dents on my Car (OOOO). Obviously, I first tried to get a quote in Zurich and around from the recommended garages (from colleagues and EF). All quotes were between 1800 to 2600 CHF

I decided to get it done from Germany. I visited 4 garages in Singen (Germany) all suggested by Google, and the quotes were between 480 to 900 Euros. I took the cheapest option and gave the car on saturday to be picked up on wednesday.

On Wednesday, The owner picked me from the train station and I picked the car. The work done was superb. The denting and painting work was flawless and I am glad to have made the choice. Clearly, the trip was worth it.
The owner is Philip Stegmann, a nice and gentle guy who was very professional too.

We used this service and paid 1000 Chf for quite a small dent (in our perception). He also promised to send assessment by e-mail (we mailed in advance), and also promised to do it ASAP when we actually brought the car and never did too. Because of this we brought too little money, and as the place is located in the middle of nowhere, we had a lot of trouble finding ATM. He also suggests to rent a car from him to go home, and it wasn't that cheap (well, we haven't done proper research on how much train tickets would cost), but that's how it is. Be careful: the closest customs doesn't have clear schedule of working, so we couldn't report taxes immediately, and as we did some food shopping, that was not the best surprise.
