| | | New Addition to the Family
Following on from the car threads, I would proudly like to announce a new addition to the PlantHead household, here's my little princess
TD5 Land Rover Defender 90, unfortunately with Heated seats (that was the only way the misses would sanction my madness)
Always wanted one and finally I managed to afford one..its not new (of course) and the passenger door rattles like a good 'un but she is much appreciated by her new family.

She is gorgeous. We had one for a couple of months in the ME, we had to get rid of it due to a lack of A/C and a newborn. they need to be kept cool .
Not sure I would fancy the heated seats

Nice ride. We also have a jeep with heated seats and i couldnt live without them in especially when its cold just press the button and within a few seconds you have a nice warm bottom.

What a beaut!
I didn't know they came with heated seats? Isn't the fuel tank under the seat (was in the series 1 at least)?

Men and their cars! I shall never complain about my guys car as long as he keeps shut about my purse, shoe, and bicycle collections.
Now coming from a flat city I usually roll my eyes at gas slurping SUV's. But, just look at the backdrop on that photo! I think the SUV is not a waste this time.

Hehe......ok ok. I will never argue with a man and their vehicles. Better?
Small secret. I've always wanted a Land Rover. I'm an outdoors nuts so it totally fits my lifestyle. Thank God the boyfriend does not read this site. Wanting and affording are 2 different things.

Ahh fair enough, changed picture....thought about that before but was too lazy to get out photoshop.
28 miles to the gallon, or so the literature says, personally I think that drops when the misses puts the heated seats on.

By the way, we all know that proper Landies have 4/7 seats heated and incorporate a feature allowing the car to go up and down whilst waiting at the lights | |
