Good classics garage with English?

Hi,

I have a 1987 mercedes sl with a leaking tranny.

Would like a mechanic to take a look at it. Can you recommend any? if it is near Zurich better, but I am happy to drive elsewhere like Germany if necessary.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Re: Good classics garage with English?

Hmm, a leaking Tranny. Hmmm...

For the car, may I suggest Bermuda Garage on Gasometerstrasse, near Langstrasse / Josefstrasse for 'nice' old cars and loving Grease Monkeys?

Here's the address:

Bermuda Garage GmbH.
Gasometerstr. 7 8005 Zürich,
Tel. 044 / 2734800

And Here's the map link

They're good sorts and speak English.

How's that for an answer?

Yeah, they have a really old Tranny in the back, but that's for another thread.

Nice guys, call 'em. (I've no connection to them, just used them occassionally...)

www.oldtimers.ch

They are specialized in old cars, and they speak english. They're not far from Zürich.

Re: Good classics garage with English?

Hi,

though people might be interested in the outcome.

Oldtimers.ch: They told me they only fix cars they have sold. So bad... (for me)

Bermuda: Very satisfied and happy. Nice, in English, they know the stuff, on shcedule,... only good words for them.

Cheers
