I called several local driving schools in Neuchatel but no one provided English Theory Lessons for Driving Theory Test, do you know a teacher or school in Neuchatel or near by to teach in English?

Since the written exams are done in one of the national languages, it would do you no good to learn it all in English and then try and write the theory in another.
You need to learn the test in a national language, get a translator to help you in the grey areas where you really don't understand (stop for pesdestrians for example), then write the theory.
If it cannot be done like this, maybe return to your home area, get the drivers license and an international if needed, come back and get it converted. (Although if they see you left the country and come back with a new license, they may refuse to convert it until after a year or so). This would ensure a safe road for all of us.

Thanks , but wrong information, writen exam is also in English, I did it once 3 years ago in German Part but could nt pass it, I cant back to Iran, you may guess why. but anyway thanks for your advice!

Trying to find driving school with english speaking teacher near Neuchatel.

in Biel ( about 20 to 25 train-minutes away from Neuch) is the Driving School Richard where they state on the webpage that two of their driving instructors speak english, and one of the theoretical instructors as well

Sorry, I guess it differs from boat licenses which I enquired on 3 years ago and they said, "you live in Switzerland, choose one of three languages, one not being English".
My apologies.

Actually you might NOT be wrong , coz I heard/read ( but can't remember where) that they want to cut all the foreign language printed tests and get the people to take them in one of the national languages,however it can be helpful to have at least an instructor speaking english, this might help 'paving the way '...

Regarding to Driving Exam, you know there is no official plan to cut English (At least) nowadys you can also pass it in Turkish, Serbian or other languges but I dont think they want to delet English Test, while at least Switzerland is in Europe and you can speak English here also. with 1 from 6 foreigners I hope they keep it till I got my Driving Licence.

I ve got a bad news today the trafic center in Neuchatel told me there is nt English test anymore form 1 Jan 2008, but a Auro school in Biel belives there is English Test in Canton Bern, so now there is not English and any other languges for Theory at least in French Part. Bad for me! I have no way to pass it in German.
