I have seen a car i like in Geneva where i work- however i live in France. I have been told it will be a nightmare to import it. Has anyone done it/ can confirm it is indeed not worth it??

Just to follow up on this as i sat desperately waiting for an answer ! does anyone maybe know someone who would re-register the car and do the hard work for me for a smallish fee??

I am now working in Zurich so was wondering about buying a used car here and immediately registering it in France (where I live).

I know the process in France as have re-registered my UK car there, but I read something about having to have owned the car for at least 6 months if it is being imported from non-EU country.

Any clues, much appreciated.
