Re: 0.1% promille alcohol limit

It's very simple:

If you are driving - don't drink. Any alcohol. You can spend all night working out whether you are over or under the limit. But if nothing with alcohol in passEs your lips you're not only sensible, you probably won't kill anyone on the roads...

All the publicity posters at the time had 'zero pro mille' in huge letters on them ( and 0.1% in tiny writing) which probably confused people a bit.
It properly was 0.01% or 0.1‰

All the accident statistics show the overwhelming majority of auto accidents are caused by sober drivers; what conclusion do we draw from this.

Indeed and concentrate on the other major causes of accidents like excessive speed, poor road layouts, poor driving skills &&&
Of course drunk drivers are also not immune from such issues. Apart from the mad few my experience is that drivers who have drunk too much drive slowly and carefully.
I know several people who were pulled over by Swiss police and breath tested because "they were driving too slowly!" In all cases the test was negative.

Re: 0.1% promille alcohol limit

Drunk drivers don't cause accidents.

It's people who cause accidents.

Oh, sorry wrong show.
