Car polish person / company?

Hi everybody,

This winter I bought an used car in a private sale. Very happy with the car so far (Red Audi A3 Sportback, 3.2 liter Quattro) but it obviously it didn’t come al shiny and polished like from a garage. It doesn’t have any damage but just common light washing scratches. I would like to get those polished out this spring by someone who knows what he’s doing.

Can any of you guys recommend a good and affordable car polishing person or company? Either around Winterthur or just over the border in Germany. I’m looking for a machine (DAP) kind of treatment. Waxing and interior treatment I like to do myself but I’d rather have an experienced polisher do the polishing work.

Thanks for your help!

If you want quick Express fix for 1.5hour, there is one car polishing/ cleaning company in Rapperswil. I think it's along Spinnereistrasse 4. It costs low of CHF100.

Of course, they also have the standard 6-8hours thorough cleaning inside-out, starting from CHF399. Check them out.

Cheers!

AVP in Glattbrugg is great and they frequently offer great Groupon deals. My car came out looking like new last time (had the entire car detailed and he even touched up the nicks/scratches with paint) but they also offer polishing services. It's kind of hard to book appointments, though. But completely worth the money if you get the Groupon deal.

My apologies I only saw this now...troll on Groupon. I think I got the entire thing for around 350 bucks? But the "full" package. Totally worth it. They will even take you to the train, airport (if you travel and want it done while you're away).
